How do I transfer my converted videos to my 5G iPod? And what’s the best format to convert them?
We already have some videos saved on iTunes but most of them are in WMV or MPEG. The thing is, whenever we try to update, it says the iPod can’t play the videos we have saved. So how do we convert the videos existing in iTunes? I tried Videora but I just can’t figure out how to work it.
Also, whenever I try to import videos from our drive, there are only .txt, .xml and .m3u file types so I can’t see if I’m importing anything at all. Help me, PLEASE!
Once I’ve converted the files, how do I get them into iTunes?
The pop-up box that appears when I select Import can only display .txt , .xml and .m3u file types in the “Files of type” drop-down box. Theoretically, that means that I can’t see which videos I’m importing even after I’ve converted them.
Well, Videora is the best free solution so if you can post back I will try to help you with that. To convert a video using Videora first click Setup and save the files to a directory you can locate easily by going to the “Output Videos To” box and click Browse then select a directory that you can find easily.
Once you have done that go ahead and click on Convert under that menu select either “transcode new video” which will let you do one video or you can do a batch (more than one) convert by clicking on “One Click Transcode” then select the movie (or movies) you want to convert and then click Open. Then under the “New Transcoding Job” you will see the movie or movies you have selected for conversion. Click Start and it will start converting them.
And as far as the file formats you have listed .txt is a text file, .xml is a web programing language and .m3u are playlist files but none of them are video formats.
